I’m glad you asked.

I’ve worked in the fields of journalism and digital news for nearly 20 years. I’ve hand-coded sites in the pre-CSS dark ages, written a personal blog, worked at an academic magazine and — mostly — worked in and around newspaper websites.

I’ve been a Web producer, production editor and product manager. I’ve written stories, edited content, built up social accounts and helped manage projects and vendor relationships. In my current role, I help manage strategy and analytics for Gannett’s Wisconsin region.

For those keeping score at home, I have a master’s in digital journalism from Emerson College in Boston and an undergraduate degree in the lucrative field of creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
